Electrical Engineer
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for datacenters. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that ensure the resilience, efficiency, and sustainability of datacenter operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function in a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis.
- Broaden knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas
- Develop Electrical design for Data Center projects.
- Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications.
- Act as an Owner's Rep and support various engineering activities including design reviews, creation & review of MOP/EOP's, support of site operations, etc.
- Prepare technical documents such as reports or design calculations.
- Perform site condition assessments.
- Coordinate with regional and global design teams
- Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area
- Do project studies - Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis.
- Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues
- Occasional travel for site visits (up to 10% travel)
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on datacenters preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
