Company Summary: Our client is a technology leader in smaller wastewater solutions for over 40 years. They are positioned for growth and broadening of their principal product offering with their robust sales history and hundreds of installations across North America. They are seeking to hire an Associate Project Manager, this position is needed for project coordination in an effort to develop current and future exciting wastewater projects. The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Drafting and tracking the budget for projects as well as reviewing the accuracy of vendor and customer invoices
- Responsible for assisting with Scope, Scheduling and budgeting for projects.
- Assisting with vendor management and procurement: reviewing and updating current vendors, drafting project purchase orders, managing inventory
- Maintaining project documentation: contracts, change orders, submittals, and invoices
- Preparing internal and customer communications including submittals, schedules, manuals, agendas, change orders, and project milestone letters
The Associate Project Manager should have the following qualifications:
- 2-5 years of project coordination or construction management experience
- 2+ Years of Wastewater Engineering experience (Industrial setting) is required.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
- A people person with a good ability to interact with both their team as well as clients
- Great organizational skills, especially in data and document management
