LVI Associates is currently partnered with a leading national firm with a strong survey presence across the United States. They are looking to bring on a Survey Project Manager to join their Charlotte office. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the overall direction, coordination, execution, and quality control of professional survey services. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, contribute to client satisfaction, and support business development efforts under the direction of the Survey and Market Leaders in the Renewables and Power Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project tasks, timelines, and resource management.

  • Monitor project budgets and assess profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates, and utilization.

  • Organize and lead team meetings to evaluate project status and coordination.

  • Stay informed on trends, technologies, software, hardware, and equipment relevant to the industry.

  • Promote innovation to drive value in projects.

  • Collaborate with the Survey Service Leader to establish, implement, and maintain survey procedures and quality standards.

  • Ensure consistency and efficiency in survey work products across the local land survey team.

  • Work with Survey Service Leader and Market Leaders to manage staffing, workload, and utilization for survey-related tasks.

  • Collaborate with division Survey Leaders and Market Leaders to expand local and national land survey presence, with a focus on securing large survey projects.

  • Contribute to business development by providing technical expertise and driving revenue generation.

  • Build and maintain a strong survey culture that aligns with the division's goals and objectives.

  • Ensure adherence to division, regional, and company policies, values, and practices within the survey service.

  • Lead by example, demonstrating sound judgment, integrity, trust, transparency, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Survey License is required.

  • A four-year degree is preferred, along with at least 5 years of experience in a consulting environment.

  • Extensive multi-discipline experience and a strong understanding of all aspects of Land Surveying.

  • At least 5 years of experience in the land surveying industry.

  • Strong project management experience is essential.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to make independent decisions.

  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
