We are seeking a skilled and motivated Land Development Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, managing, and delivering land development projects from concept through completion. This role requires technical expertise, strong project management skills, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage engineering designs for land development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

  • Prepare site layout designs, grading plans, drainage systems, utility designs, and erosion control plans.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.

  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

  • Perform engineering calculations to support designs.

  • Ensure project designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Prepare technical reports, project specifications, and documentation.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

  • Assist in obtaining permits and approvals.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development engineering.

  • Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and Hydraflow.

  • Strong understanding of local zoning laws, stormwater management, and site grading principles.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
