Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Hydrogeologist to join the Seattle team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing hydrogeological investigations, groundwater modeling, and site assessments for a variety of environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for delivering sustainable, high-quality environmental solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead hydrogeologic investigations and develop conceptual site models, including groundwater flow and contaminant transport models.

  • Conduct and manage field investigations, including monitoring well installations, aquifer tests, and soil/groundwater sampling.

  • Manage projects, ensuring that all technical, regulatory, and budget requirements are met while maintaining client relationships.

  • Prepare and review technical reports, site assessments, feasibility studies, and remedial action plans.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, including project coordination and task management.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

  • Collaborate with other environmental professionals, including engineers and environmental scientists, to provide integrated solutions to complex problems.

  • Develop proposals and work with clients to understand project needs and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Geologist (PG) license required.

  • Eligible to obtain a Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHG) within one year.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in hydrogeology, with expertise in groundwater modeling, site assessments, and remedial investigations.

  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, state-specific environmental laws).

  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.

  • Proven ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

Salary:
$90,000 - $130,000 base salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
