My client is an employee-owned international environmental firm, looking to add a Human Health Risk Assessor to their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing human health risks associated with environmental contaminants and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct human health risk assessments for various environmental projects.
- Analyze data related to environmental contaminants and their potential impact on human health.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive risk assessments.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and the public
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Toxicology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years in human health risk assessment.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of federal and California state regulations related to environmental health.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
