Principal Business Valuation - Expert Witness

My client is seeking to grow their practice by adding a highly skilled business valuation professional with significant experience in delivering expert testimony for complex, high-value cases. This role will focus on disputes related to M&A transactions, shareholder litigation, and other high-profile valuation and damages matters. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in valuation, financial analysis, and forensic accounting. Prior experience testifying in courts such as the Delaware Court of Chancery and/or U.S. District Court is a strong advantage.

For 30+ years, they have been trusted by leading litigators and their clients to provide robust valuation and damages analysis, delivering expert testimony in cases involving hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars. Their work spans a wide range of industries and involves some of the most complex financial disputes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Testifying experience in the Delaware Court of Chancery and/or U.S. District Court
  • Graduate degree (PhD or MBA)
  • Professional credential (e.g., CFA and/or ASA)

Required Qualifications

  • 15 years of full-time experience in business valuation, with at least 5 years of experience as an expert witness
  • Demonstrated ability to generate at least $1 million in annual billings through business development
  • Experience in training, managing, and mentoring staff
