Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Project Manager with a PE license to lead and manage remediation projects in the Seattle or Portland area. In this role, you will oversee the design and implementation of remedial actions at contaminated sites, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and delivering successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of remedial actions for contaminated sites, including soil, groundwater, and sediment remediation.

  • Manage and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project execution.

  • Prepare and review technical documents, including remedial design reports, feasibility studies, and regulatory submittals.

  • Provide project management oversight, including managing budgets, schedules, and resources.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and industry standards.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory agencies throughout project lifecycles.

  • Mentor and guide junior staff, helping to support their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required (WA or OR).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on remedial design and implementation.

  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, including CERCLA, RCRA, MTCA, and other relevant standards.

  • Experience with environmental site assessments, feasibility studies, and remedial action planning.

  • Proven project management skills, including experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with environmental modeling tools and software.

  • Background in environmental site investigations, risk assessments, and hazard assessments.

  • Experience in client-facing roles and managing client expectations.
