Director - Valuation & Litigation
Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Valuation and Litigation to join their team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business valuation, litigation support, and generating significant revenue. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the business valuation and litigation support team.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve a minimum revenue generation target of $500,000 annually.
- Conduct comprehensive business valuations for a variety of purposes including mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax compliance, and litigation support.
- Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings and support clients in litigation matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ABV) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business valuation and litigation support.
- Proven ability to generate significant revenue, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience providing expert testimony in legal proceedings.
