About the Role:
My client, an award-winning engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves working on higher education, ports, and energy projects, administering all phases from proposal development through construction completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform HVAC and plumbing design engineering and supervise multi-discipline teams.
- Administer project phases including budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, and specification writing.
- Conduct energy studies, audits, and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with state and local codes, including the Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and Climate Action Plan.
- Present complex engineering concepts to clients, industry partners, and other staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering design and project management experience.
- Experience with all aspects of HVAC and Plumbing Design.
- Experience with design-build projects.
- Proficiency in relevant codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
LEED Accreditation is a plus.
