With a commitment to excellence, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex water and wastewater projects in Hong Kong.

Job Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of wastewater treatment projects. You will oversee project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication while ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end wastewater treatment projects, from feasibility studies to commissioning.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and government authorities.
  • Oversee procurement processes, contract management, and risk assessment.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure engineering excellence in project execution.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Chartered Engineer will be highly regarded.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically in wastewater treatment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, infrastructure development, and local regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects in Hong Kong.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
