Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to join our Business Valuation & Litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business valuation, litigation support, and generating significant revenue. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects and client relationships. The candidate must be able to generate a minimum of $500,000 in revenue annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Business Valuation & Litigation team, ensuring high-quality delivery of services.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Conduct comprehensive business valuations for various purposes including mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax compliance, and litigation support.
- Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings and support clients in litigation matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities effectively.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of engagement management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ABV) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business valuation and litigation support.
- Proven ability to generate significant revenue, with a track record of generating at least $500,000 in revenue annually.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience providing expert testimony in legal proceedings.
