Company Summary: We are partnered with a global development company with over 18 years of experience developing large-scale renewable projects. Specializing in the promotion of solar and storage projects, the company is actively looking to grow their impact on the U.S market after establishing themselves as a major player over the last 5 years. To lead this growth and expansion, they are looking to bring on a Director of Development to lead their U.S team based out of Charlotte, N.C.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire development life-cycle of utility scale solar projects in various energy markets
- Develop strategies and implement the expansion into new markets throughout the U.S
- Manage junior developers and the development team
- Lead off-take efforts for the development team
Requirements:
- Experience seeing large-scale projects through the entire development life-cycle
- Experience in off-take, PPAs, and engaging with external stakeholders
- Able to be in the Charlotte office 4 days a week
- Passionate about the renewable industry and increasing the impact and pipeline of the company
