BESS Global Business Development Manager
One of our clients is hiring for a Global Business Development Manager for their BESS department.
As a business development manager, you will be a member of the Business Planning and Promotion Department of the BESS business and will be responsible for the following:
Duties:
- Sales and business development of storage battery systems for the electric power industry in Japan and overseas (especially identifying new projects, negotiating contracts, preparing contracts, and handling billing)
- Building relationships and leading business negotiations and contract negotiations with major power companies and others
- Developing new markets and proposing new products and providing products and services that meet local needs Develop new markets, propose new products, and provide products and services that meet local needs
- Coordinate with overseas offices, product development departments and manufacturing sites
- Develop business strategies and budget plans, set and achieve sales targets
- Promote overseas sales activities
Essential Skills
- B to B direct sales (5+ years of experience)
- International sales experience (3+ years of experience)
- Knowledge of large electrical products or electrical technology
- Experience handling products worth over 100 million yen
Welcomed Skills
- Understanding of electrical drawings such as single wire connection drawings, expansion connection drawings
- Proactive sales experience
- Experience in conducting interviews to elicit customer needs and proposing solutions
- Experience in the electric power industry
- Knowledge and experience in conducting proactive sales activities
- Experience in giving presentations and building relationships with executives and senior management
- Experience in developing mid-term customer relationships
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other teams and members
- Experience in the electrical/electronics/components industry
- Knowledge of the power industry Experience in the electrical/electronic components industry

- Sales experience in the software or IT services industry
