Geotechnical Engineer Position
Location: Baltimore, MD
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Evaluation: Plan, estimate, and conduct subsurface investigations and laboratory testing programs in soil and rock.
- Technical Analysis: Perform geotechnical analyses and design for foundations, embankments, pavements, and earth retaining systems.
- Documentation: Prepare geotechnical memoranda, data and design reports, and design drawings and specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, drillers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Support During Construction: Provide geotechnical support during construction phases, including site visits and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Certification: Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
