An environmental consulting firm is seeking an experienced Ecological and Human Health Risk Assessor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in risk assessment, regulatory toxicology, or a related discipline. This role involves developing business practices, client development, and proposal preparation. The successful candidate will also manage large multi-group projects, utilizing multiple internal resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business practices in risk assessment and regulatory toxicology.
- Engage in client development and prepare proposals.
- Manage large multi-group projects, ensuring effective utilization of internal resources.
- Conduct soil, groundwater, biota, and air quality investigations.
- Plan and permit projects where regulated chemicals are managed in compliance with EPA or State environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure project success and compliance with environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in ecological and human health risk assessment, regulatory toxicology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in developing business practices, client development, and proposal preparation.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing large multi-group projects.
- Knowledge of soil, groundwater, biota, and air quality investigations.
- Familiarity with EPA and State environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Toxicology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
