Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of projects, from design through to completion. This individual will manage resources, budgets, and schedules, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and meet the highest standards. The role also includes close interaction with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring all objectives are met while fostering collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of projects, including water/wastewater infrastructure, environmental services, and civil engineering initiatives.

  • Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout all phases of the project.

  • Oversee project planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

  • Work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and maintain strong, ongoing relationships.

  • Monitor project progress, manage risk, and resolve issues as they arise.

  • Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior team members.

  • Report regularly to senior management on project status, budget performance, and potential issues.

Required Expertise:

  • Water/Wastewater and Infrastructure Engineering: Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects, particularly in water/wastewater systems and environmental services.

  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.

  • Client Relationship Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain long-term client relationships and effectively manage expectations.

  • Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring high performance across all project phases.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges early and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field.

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.

  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and processes.

  • Proven experience in leading teams, managing budgets, and executing projects in a timely manner.
