Join a fast-growing design & build contractor backed by a national leader in ground improvement, earth retention, and deep foundations. They are setting the standard in geotechnical construction across the East Coast, and need an estimator to join their team for bidding purposes.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and submit competitive bids for sheet piling, shoring, micropiles, helical piles, and specialized foundation systems
Analyze drawings, specifications, and soil reports to develop project estimates
Collaborate with the in-house design team for value-engineering and technical proposals
Develop pricing strategies for ground improvement projects including Geopiers
Build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors in a high-repeat business environment
Support project transitions from preconstruction to project management teams
What You Bring:
Estimating experience in geotechnical, earth retention, or deep foundations
Strong understanding of ground improvement, soil mechanics, and construction sequencing
Ability to interpret complex plans, geotechnical reports, and technical specifications
Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines
Prior experience with Design-Build projects a plus
