Position Overview:
The company is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer with at least 4-6 years of experience to support the design, planning, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The Project Engineer will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and project team to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects, while maintaining quality standards and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of water and wastewater projects under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, offering problem-solving expertise as needed.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, ensure quality control, and verify compliance with project specifications.
- Help enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project life-cycle.
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve technical issues and optimise project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related Engineering field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) .
- 4-6 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Solid knowledge of water and wastewater design, operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong project engineering skills, including experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and Microsoft Project.
