Our client, a leader in the water and wastewater treatment industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Engineer to join their innovative team in St. Louis, MO. As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing advanced water and wastewater treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of water and wastewater treatment systems, including process design, equipment selection, and system optimization.
- Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments for proposed projects.
- Provide expert guidance and technical support throughout all project phases, from conceptual design to construction and commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and environmental scientists, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
- Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in water and wastewater treatment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment engineering, including the design of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, conveyance systems, or similar.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and water modelling software.
