About the Role
In this position, you'll be responsible for leading and contributing to water resources projects that directly support the region's transportation infrastructure. This includes applying expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, and erosion control while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and support business development initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland or DC is required.
- 5-10 years of experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on transportation projects in the DC-Maryland region.
- Proficient in industry-standard design tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, StormCAD).
- Strong understanding of environmental and transportation regulations in the area.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
