Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute sales activities in the region to meet revenue targets.
- Collaborate with management to set and implement market strategies. Negotiate orders and establish contracts with industrial and municipal clients.
- Build high-level relationships with key accounts, including OEMs, engineering firms, consultants, municipalities, and governments, to benefit the membrane business.
- Manage the strategic partner network responsible for selling specific product lines to municipal markets.
- Develop sales forecasts and objectives for each territory within the region.
- Participate in new product recommendations and market introductions.
- Monitor competitive market trends to maintain a consistent sales approach and increase base business revenue.
- Support marketing efforts for new technologies.
- Track the status of water industry projects through publications and other sources
Requirements
- University Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience with local or regional exposure.
- Experience in technical sales within the water treatment industry.
- Strong knowledge of water chemistry, fluid flow, water pressure, and technical writing standards.
- Good understanding of business management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
- Proficiency in languages commonly used by customers in the South Asia region is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work in a matrix environment and with cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders.
- High energy, strong initiative, and self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
