Join a Leading Theme Park System Integration Team
We are hiring an experienced Automation Engineer for a client in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement advanced automation and control systems. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Create, program, and maintain automation control systems for industrial processes using PLCs, panel design, and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Design and troubleshoot both hardware and software for automation systems.
- Partner with project managers and engineering teams to ensure control systems align with project specifications.
- Ensure all systems and designs adhere to UL508A standards.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and provide technical support during implementation.
- Offer training and ongoing technical support to operators and technicians for automated systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering fields.
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing automation systems, including PLC programming, panel design, and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Strong knowledge of UL508A standards and proven experience designing compliant systems.
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems and programming.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with safety systems and ride controls.
- Industry experience with theme parks and conveyor systems is highly desirable.
