Job Title: Transportation Planner

Job Description: As a Transportation Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing transportation plans and projects that improve mobility, safety, and accessibility. You will work closely with local governments, stakeholders, and the public to ensure that transportation systems meet the needs of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct transportation planning studies and analyses.
- Develop and evaluate transportation plans, policies, and projects.
- Collaborate with local governments, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and grant applications.
- Analyze traffic data and forecast future transportation needs.
- Participate in public meetings and community outreach efforts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation planning or a related field.
- AICP preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in transportation planning software and GIS.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
