Job Description: We are looking for a talented and experienced Transmission Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Engineering and extensive experience in transmission planning, including the use of software such as PSS/E. This role involves working closely with various Independent System Operators (ISOs) and Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) to ensure the effective planning and operation of transmission systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct transmission planning studies and analyses using PSS/E software.
- Collaborate with ISOs/RTOs to develop and evaluate transmission plans and projects.
- Assess the impact of new generation and load interconnections on the transmission network.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in transmission planning methodologies and technologies.
Qualifications:
