Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee land development projects. In this role, you will manage the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations. You will work closely with clients, engineers, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior staff and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, providing guidance and leadership to ensure quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage land development projects from concept through to completion.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to meet project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Review and approve project designs, contracts, and specifications.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide ongoing updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Coordinate project documentation and reporting, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in land development and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing land development projects.
- Professional Engineering (PE) licence or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and land development regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
