Actively seeking a Manager/Senior Manager of Transmission Planning & Interconnections at a well-known clean energy developer. This role will be specifically focused on interconnection for utility-scale solar projects. You will report to the Vice President of Interconnection.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in transmission interconnections within a utility, consulting group, or developer
- Working knowledge of ERCOT, MISO, SPP, PJM, WECC, NYISO, or ISO-NE required
- Ability to lead, perform, and analyze power system studies using PSS/E, PowerWorld, TARA, or similar modeling tools
- Working knowledge of generation interconnection
- People and project management skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop transmission plans for utility-scale generation projects
- Attend relevant ISO stakeholder and state regulatory meetings
- Handle the day-to-day interconnection process for new & existing development projects
