We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Engineer and Estimator with expertise in estimating structured cabling and low voltage infrastructure projects, including copper (Cat6, 6a) cabling, fiber, equipment racks, and supporting hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimate low voltage and/or structural voice/data cabling projects.
Develop bill of materials, estimate material pricing, and labour hours for proposals.
Interpret floor plans, riser diagrams, elevations, and detail drawings.
Perform take-offs, length assessments, and material counts.
Utilise AutoCAD, Bluebeam, quoting software, and Microsoft Excel.
Write scope of work and system narratives.
Work independently, maintain records, and provide updates to managers.
Manage timelines and multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of industry standards for commercial low voltage, fiber, and infrastructure cabling.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
RCDD and/or BICSI certifications preferred.
Experience with ConnectWise, quoting software, and/or similar ticketing systems is a plus.
