Structural Project Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Structural Project Manager to join our growing team in Miami, Florida. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in structural engineering and project management, a passion for client engagement, and the ability to lead and mentor a team. The successful candidate will work on diverse and challenging projects across multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, industrial, educational, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of structural engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Design & Technical Expertise:
- Lead structural design efforts for a variety of building types, including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to engineering teams.
- Conduct and review structural analysis, calculations, and documentation.
Client Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives, offering tailored engineering solutions.
- Prepare and present project proposals, progress updates, and final deliverables.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, promoting professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and consultants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 7-10+ years of structural engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Revit, RISA, ETABS, or similar).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing a team and working directly with clients.
