Role Overview
- The company is seeking a senior Structural Engineer with 12 years' of experience who is capable of working with steel, concrete, precast concrete and wood structural systems in new construction and existing structures.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Licensed senior structural engineer with over 15 years of experience
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Capable of independently performing structural calculations with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in working with steel, concrete, precast concrete, and wood structural systems
- Experienced in both new construction and evaluating existing structures
- In-depth understanding of structural system/component costs, enabling accurate project budgeting and assessment of proposed systems
- Thorough knowledge of building codes related to live, snow, wind, and seismic loads
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Strong expertise in building structural systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
