Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and analysis, with experience working on a variety of building projects. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, managing project timelines and budgets, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze structural systems for various types of buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated design solutions.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects are built according to design specifications.
Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development activities.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve our services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building projects.
Proficiency in structural engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS).
Strong technical knowledge of structural design and analysis principles.
