The Role:
As a Structural Engineer, you will focus on designing building projects that range from impactful renovations to innovative new constructions. You will work closely with in-house multidisciplinary teams to create structural systems that fulfil client requirements and surpass industry standards.
Your responsibilities will include drafting construction documents, and ensuring adherence to codes and regulations.
Additionally, you will conduct field surveys to evaluate structural infrastructures, participate in construction administration tasks, and guide teams through various project phases.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and analyse structural systems for building projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions.
- Prepare construction documents and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct field surveys and inspections.
- Participate in construction administration and project management.
Qualifications:
- B.A in Civil Engineering
- NYS PE License required
- 7+ years' experience in structural engineering
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong knowledge in various design software; BlueBeam, AutoCAD & Revit etc.
