A US leading general contractor who specializes in ground-up construction projects, are seeking a talented Construction Estimator to join their exciting precon team in Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Bid Management: Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to develop competitive bids and proposals.
- Analysis: Review project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
- Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of estimates and provide regular updates to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a construction estimator, preferably for a General Contractor
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
