Base Salary: $115,000.00 to $155,000.00
A National Civil Engineering firm is looking for a Sr. Civil Engineer to join their team in Corona. The team has developed strong relationships with private development and municipal clients over the course of their over 25 year presence in the area. The role will be focused on land development for a diverse client base, including K-12 and higher education, commercial, restaurant, office, municipal, park district, historic preservation and infrastructure improvement projects across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Apply civil engineering principles, methods, and techniques to land development projects, including the design of drainage and stormwater systems, water systems, sanitary sewer systems, parking areas, and roadways.
- Use Civil 3D software to create exhibits and construction documents.
- Employ stormwater management and storm sewer software for the design and permitting of land development projects.
- Review regulations and standards necessary for project design and permitting.
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests, and other topographical and geological data to plan and design projects.
- Make independent decisions on engineering problems and methods.
- Follow instructions from Senior Engineers regarding expected results.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of engineering designs, reports, and plans, while maintaining adherence to budgets, schedules, and company standards.
- Conduct site investigations and provide on-site construction observation services.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5+ years of applicable civil engineering experience
