Job Overview: The AV Project Manager will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the technical intricacies of projects, overseeing a team of 20 skilled technicians. The position demands a deep understanding of audio-visual technologies, project management methodologies, and a meticulous approach to quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans encompassing AV system design, equipment procurement, and installation schedules.
- Collaborate with the technical team to define project requirements and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance to a team of 20 technicians, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular technical reviews and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Implement rigorous quality control processes for AV systems, addressing potential issues in design, configuration, and integration.
- Utilize testing protocols and tools to validate system performance and troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Monitor project budgets with a focus on technical components, equipment costs, and specialized resources.
- Collaborate with technical leads to optimize resource allocation and minimize cost overruns.
- Act as the technical liaison between the project team and clients, ensuring clear communication of technical concepts and project status.
- Provide technical insights to clients during project consultations and address any technical queries.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in technical project management within the audio-visual industry.
- In-depth knowledge of AV system design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing technical teams.
- Pro AV and Pro Sound project experience.
- Experience working on projects $1.5M - $10M.
