Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee hazardous waste compliance projects, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including RCRA.
- Conduct thorough research, review, and analysis of hazardous waste policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement hazardous waste management plans and strategies.
- Prepare and review technical reports, compliance documents, and permit applications.
- Coordinate and supervise project teams, including staff, contractors, and vendors.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Facilitate discussions and negotiations with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and support.
- Contribute to business development efforts and identify new opportunities in hazardous waste management.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for junior staff.
- Conduct public outreach and education on hazardous waste management and sustainability.
- Utilize relevant software and tools for project management and compliance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental compliance and project management, with a focus on hazardous waste.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local hazardous waste regulations, including RCRA.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

- Previous or current experience in environmental consulting is strongly preferred.
