A Leading EPC Contractor in the Mid-West for C&I and Small Utility Scale Solar Projects is looking for a Site Superintendent to oversee their upcoming projects in Wisconsin and Illinois. Although, one MAJOR requirement is that you must hold a Journeyman's Electrician License in either Wisconsin and or Illinois.
Position Overview - Site Superintendent
The Site Superintendent collaborates closely with the Construction Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to deliver consistent, high-quality, cost-efficient, and timely project evaluations. This role demands excellent attendance, flexibility to travel, adherence to budgets, and the ability to work in challenging weather conditions. The position involves working alongside the Construction Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Operations Team, subcontractors, and the Director of Technical Operations to ensure accurate and effective project execution and analysis.
Key Responsibilities - Site Superintendent
- Ensure construction time-lines are met, aligning with client expectations and requirements.
- Assist the Pre-Construction team in creating initial schedules, material lists, and site-specific guides.
- Oversee coordination with subcontractors throughout the construction process to maintain progress and meet deadlines.
- Manage daily site operations, including conducting morning safety briefings and delegating job assignments.
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track alignment with project schedules.
- Prepare and submit required documentation, such as daily and weekly reports, for client communication.
- Identify and recommend strategies for process improvement to support organizational growth.

Qualifications and Requirements - Site Superintendent
Education
- High School Diploma required.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Leadership experience on PV installations exceeding 3 MW.
- Quality control/assurance work on PV installations over 3 MW.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Licenses and Certifications
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record and proof of insurance.
- OSHA 30 certification.
Physical Requirements
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Work Environment
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel across Illinois and Wisconsin.
