A leading engineering firm specializing in water and environmental solutions is seeking a Client Service Manager/Project Manager to support project needs and foster client relationships in the Omaha, Nebraska region. This role focuses on delivering innovative solutions for water, wastewater, stormwater, and water reuse projects while helping clients meet their infrastructure goals.
As a project leader, you'll work closely with clients and industry partners to develop sustainable water solutions. This includes overseeing projects such as treatment plant upgrades, system master planning, asset management, and infrastructure rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities
- Manage diverse water and wastewater projects, including planning, design, and construction, ensuring successful delivery within budget and on schedule.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead engineering efforts for tasks like hydraulic modeling, treatment process design, cost estimation, and technical reporting.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and external consultants.
- Drive business development through proposal preparation, client outreach, and participation in interviews and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships while representing the organization in regional industry networks.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across project teams and stakeholders.
- Minimal travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
- 15+ years of experience in water and wastewater project management, including treatment plant design and system planning.
- Skilled in managing projects from concept to completion, with responsibility for budgets, schedules, and quality.
- Strong understanding of water and wastewater systems, including infrastructure design and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in proposal development and client presentations.
- Team-oriented with a proactive and motivated approach to problem-solving.
