We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Wastewater Project Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will lead wastewater management projects across New York City, collaborating with a skilled team of professionals to deliver high-quality, compliant, and impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex wastewater projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and oversee procurement, subcontracting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing updates and resolving concerns.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior staff and maintain accurate project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in NY is a plus.
- Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
