Senior Transit Planner - Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic, multidisciplinary transit practice.
• Oversee the planning, production, and delivery of transit projects (Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), Light Rail Transit (LRT), and Passenger Rail).
• Utilize expertise in concept development, performance evaluation, federal programs, funding sources, and community outreach to advance transit programs.
• Support clients in program management, capital planning, and policy development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution in all aspects.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of junior staff.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning or a related field.
• American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification or Professional Engineering (PE) license, or the ability to obtain within one year.
• At least 8 years of experience focused on Civil Engineering/Transit projects.
