Senior Traffic Engineer/Transportation Planner

Duties:
Perform advanced engineering/planning tasks
Manage client relationships
Prepare and manage proposals and budgets
Coordinate and lead junior staff on projects
Train and mentor junior staff
Prepare technical reports
Perform QA/QC procedures
Present findings to public agencies and community groups
Participate in internal committees
Other duties as directed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
B.S. in Civil Engineering or Transportation Planning, or equivalent experience
P.E. License or AICP Certification
10+ years of experience in traffic engineering/transportation planning
Project management experience
Strong communication skills, including public speaking
Proficiency with traffic analysis software (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience training and mentoring junior staff
Consulting experience
Driver's license and personal transportation
Authorization to work in the U.S.
