Role Overview
We are seeking a talented project engineer with expertise in designing structural systems for large industrial and commercial facilities. Join our integrated team of architects, engineers, and project managers and take on challenging projects valued up to $500 million for some of the biggest brands in the industry. This pivotal role requires a broad set of engineering competencies, technical design knowledge, and problem-solving skills. You will also provide mentorship in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Leadership: Report to the Director of Civil Engineering.
Project Management: Lead the structural portion of major projects in industrial, commercial, and science + technology sectors.
Engineering Contributions: Manage all structural engineering aspects of projects, including on-site data gathering, design, specifications, client interactions, contract documents, shop drawing review, and construction coordination.
Collaboration: Proactively work across multidisciplinary design teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a focus on structures. PE licensure required, or the ability to become licensed.
Over 10 years of experience in structural design, analysis, and project leadership.
Extensive expertise in the design of structural steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed metal framing, deep foundations, and precast structures.
Proficient in using Revit.
Competent in Ram Structures/Elements, TEDDS, Hilti Profis, and L-Pile.
A self-starter who can manage priorities, work independently, and complete assignments on schedule.
