Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee structural analysis models and calculation packages for various structure types.
- Delegate tasks to junior staff, ensuring high-quality design outcomes.
- Prepare and review comprehensive drawing packages using Revit, AutoCAD, and other tools.
- Create and review technical documents, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Perform quality reviews to ensure compliance with company, client, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and governmental agencies for project needs and approvals.
- Travel across New York State for project investigations and construction oversight.
- Lead small design teams, managing multiple assignments across disciplines.
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment and uphold the quality and safety culture.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in structural engineering.
- NYS Professional Engineer License.
- Proficiency in design tools like Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Mathcad, STAAD Pro, and spreadsheets.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CPESC, LEED AP, or ENV SP are a bonus
