Role Overview
I am seeking a Senior Structural Project Manager with a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a proven track record in structural engineering. This position offers the opportunity to lead a growing structural group in either our Pennsylvania or South New Jersey office. You will have direct access to senior leadership and the chance to make a significant impact on our projects and growth.

Responsibilities
- Inspect project sites to evaluate contractor work, ensuring it meets design specifications and applicable codes.
- Coordinate and manage projects, including making detailed plans to achieve goals and overseeing the integration of technical activities.
- Prepare project status reports and ensure plans comply with contract specifications.
- Communicate directly with contractors and designers about project costs, staffing, and scheduling.
- Provide technical advice on design, construction, program modifications, and structural repairs to project members and contractors.
- Develop construction documents, including structural framing plans, foundation and superstructure details, notes, specifications, and typical construction details.
- Calculate gravity and lateral design loads using commercial and residential building codes (IBC 2015 & ASCE 7-10).
- Design and detail building structures using wood, steel, concrete, and masonry materials.
- Create structural analysis models (2D & 3D) using RAM Steel and RAM Elements analysis software.
- Draft plans and details for building structures based on preliminary concepts, sketches, and engineering calculations.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Statics, Mechanics of Materials, and Structural Analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autodesk AutoCAD software.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license REQUIRED.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with Enercalc Engineering Software.
- Proficiency in RAM Steel Analysis Software.
- Experience with RAM Elements Finite Elements Modeling.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Primarily an office work environment.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
