About the Role: A renowned engineering and construction firm is seeking a Senior Roadway Project Manager to join their team in Edison, NJ. This role focuses on managing complex roadway projects, particularly on the New Jersey Turnpike, from planning through to completion.
Job Description: The Senior Roadway Project Manager will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and extensive experience with New Jersey Turnpike projects. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage roadway projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these benchmarks.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in roadway project management.
- Strong knowledge of roadway design and construction processes.
- Specific experience with New Jersey Turnpike projects is essential.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
