We're on the lookout for a Senior Project Architect to join our client's expanding Architectural Department! If you have a solid history of leading the technical development of medium to large-scale projects, we want to hear from you. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, especially in Healthcare, Higher Education, R&D, and Civic/Municipal sectors. What You'll Do:
- Work directly with Project Managers to create project work plans and schedules.
- Take the lead of design teams during the programming, conceptual, and schematic design phases.
- Lead the technical team in preparing design development and construction documents.
- Coordinate with both in-house engineers and outside consultants.
- Develop architectural technical specifications.
- Oversee construction administration, including observation, RFI, and submittal review.
- Take on the role of project manager for small to medium projects when needed.
- Contribute to departmental duties like updating technical standards and mentoring junior architectural staff.
What We're Looking For:
- Ideally, you have over 10 years of experience.
- Licensure is a plus.
- Recent experience in healthcare, with knowledge of FGI, NFPA, and healthcare standards, is a bonus.
- Proficient in developing projects using Revit.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible.
- Able to work well with others, even under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture from an accredited University.
