Job Title: Senior Plumbing Engineer - Healthcare
Location: Long Beach or Irvine, California (Hybrid)
Compensation: $150,000-$183,000 annually
About the Role:
My client, an award-winning engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing plumbing systems for new buildings and renovations within the healthcare market, including hospitals, medical office buildings, and support buildings such as central plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from technical, administrative, and financial perspectives.
- Design plumbing systems for healthcare facilities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project phases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- California P.E. or CPD registration preferred; P.E. registration in other states is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in plumbing system design.
- Strong knowledge of California Plumbing Code, National Plumbing Code, California Energy Code, and HCAI codes and standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Revit, and AutoCAD.
