Senior Associate - HVAC Department (Philadelphia Office)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our HVAC department in Philadelphia. This role involves managing various projects from concept to completion and collaborating with upper management on staff development, marketing, and business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Department Leader to develop conceptual designs and guide the team through project completion.
- Serve as the primary client contact for day-to-day project activities.
- Oversee and review all project-related documents to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
- Ensure technical and functional project deliverables.
- Confidently present and explain project designs in internal and external meetings.
- Regularly coordinate with the project team to meet design expectations and deadlines.
- Manage design changes, proposals, and approvals.
- Successfully execute multiple fit-out/renovation projects and large/complex projects from start to finish.
- Prepare technical letters/memos addressing project design issues and code interpretations.
- Communicate effectively with project teams to manage issues and deliverables for project success.
Qualifications:
- 8-14 years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in design calculations and software tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- In-depth understanding of trade-specific project scopes, codes, and coordination with other trades.
- Knowledge of documentation requirements for each deliverable phase (e.g., SD, DD, CD, specifications).
