Hybrid Schedule: 3 days In-office / 2 Remote
Salary: $124,800-$183,040
Level: Mid to Senior
General Responsibilities:
As a Registered Professional Engineer, you will apply your expertise in HVAC and plumbing design engineering, supervising multi-discipline teams of engineers and designers. Your focus will be on higher education, ports, and energy projects. You will manage all phases of projects from proposal development through construction completion, including budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, and specification writing. You will have the authority to direct, control, and monitor all activities on multiple projects simultaneously.
Position Requirements:
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE License)
- 8+ years of engineering design and project management experience
- Proficiency in HVAC and Plumbing Design
- Experience with design-build projects
- Skilled in performing energy studies, audits, and analysis
- Knowledge of the Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and Climate Action Plan
- Familiarity with state and local codes
- Ability to present complex engineering concepts to clients, industry partners, and staff
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Skills:
- LEED Accreditation is a plus
