Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for energy projects, including renewable energy, power generation, and energy efficiency.
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis and calculations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and construction teams, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Oversee the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for mechanical systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of mechanical installations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and energy technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, including HVAC, piping, and thermal systems.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and energy modeling tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
